Laundry Love seeks to bring economic relief by giving individuals or families the option to redirect funds toward food, medical, gas or transportation costs as well as school supplies and other basic, everyday necessities. The Laundry Love initiative is a way of helping people who are struggling financially by assisting them with doing their laundry. For those living below the poverty line, washing clothes presents both a logistical problem and a financial hardship.

Gap Church will be taking over two New Iberia laundry mats and paying for as many families’ laundry possible on Saturday, April 25th from 9am until the church runs out of money.

Gap Church will be at the following locations:

Coin Laundry

1503 Center Street

New Iberia

Lewis Laundromat

1301 S. Lewis Street

New Iberia
