The Laundry Love initiative consists of regular opportunities to come alongside people who are struggling financially by assisting them with their laundry. Laundry Love partners with local laundromats in cleaning clothes and linens of low-income or no-income families and individuals. We see the laundromat as a place where strangers become friends, kids are known by name, hope is being hustled, and the worth of every human being is acknowledged and celebrated.
Step 1.Build a committed group. This could be friends, family, co-workers, community groups or church groups.
Step 2.Download the Laundry Love Guide and read thoroughly. If you have questions, contact a Laundry Love Coach
Step 3.Find a local laundromat to partner with. Consider location, mass transit, bus lines, walkability, near low-income areas, etc.
Step 4.Register your Laundry Love effort on our site's national map. This allows families and individuals in your area to find you.
Step 5.Develop a funding stream to sustain your Laundry Love effort. Build partnerships that will care for Laundry Love participants.
